Our History
Ocean Rainwear A/S was founded in 1958 in Herning (Denmark) to manufacturer the very highest quality waterproof clothing and waders. The company quickly established itself as market leader with products in the offshore fishing industry and fishing tackle trade.
These traditions still exist today. However, from continuing research and development, with the aid of latest technology, a new generation of materials is provided for the next century.
From the new materials, Ocean now supply guaranteed quality waterproof clothing to many industries... food processing, industrial cleaning, forestry, agriculture, plant machinery, building, highways and oil refining to name a few. Whatever industry you are in, if your work entails getting wet, Oceans commitment is to keep you dry.
The success and growth of the company can be attributed to reliability, credibility, availability and friendly service. Sales are conducted through a network of appointed dealers worldwide. Dealers are supported by a team of agents as well as our ovn sales staff, on behalf of Ocean, who assist in all matters relating to sales and service.
Ocean Rainwear employ more than 200 people and produce more than 1 million pieces of garment per year. We export to more than 25 countries around the world. |

Our best selling products from OCEAN are the Classic series (D8xx og Off-shore (D30xx) and the protection suits (D3055 / D755).
Besite making standard products OCEAN is also specilaists in making special rainwear after specification from customers. It could be longer legs or mounting of latex/neoprene cuffs or mounting gloves at the sleeves just to mention some of the possibilities.

Custom made products: normally 4-6 weeks dependant of the amount.
